My visit to Selva Negra Restaurant Miami was an absolute delight, and I can confidently say it's a fantastic spot for authentic Nicaraguan cuisine! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the warm vibes and the genuine reflection of Nicaraguan culture in the decor. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with family and friends. The food here is simply delicious and incredibly authentic. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and tasted super fresh. I had the Antojito, and it was outstanding, packed with vibrant flavors. The parrilla with different meats was tasty and juicy, and the chicken was delicious – truly hitting the mark for traditional dishes. Even the Cacao drink was a 10/10 in taste and presentation, served in beautiful Nicaraguan cups! My kids also loved the gallo pinto and maduros, which is always a huge plus. The service was amazing and incredibly attentive. Our waitress, Arabella, was particularly wonderful; she made sure we liked our food and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff are super courteous and clearly take pride in presenting both the restaurant and the food. It's rare to find such a combination of delicious, authentic food and truly exceptional service. Selva Negra offers great value, ensuring you get a satisfying meal without putting a hole in your wallet. We even visited twice during our trip because of the authentic food and welcoming environment. Don’t judge this Nicaraguan restaurant by its location or the way it looks from the outside. Once you step inside, you’ll find a very clean, welcoming, and comfortable space. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Our waiter, Sandra, was especially kind, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a hidden gem with great food and excellent service that’s definitely worth a visit.

Everything was very good and not expensive. Meat was done very well, mussels were big and tasty and I can recommend to try them with pico de galla.

A cozy place with the atmosphere of a traditional German pub, serving hearty meals and good beer. The food is delicious and filling, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends.

Impressed with authenticity de un restaurante Nicaraguense que refleja la cultura. El personal super atentos a nosotros y en presentar el restaurante y comida. Cacao was 10/10 in regards to taste and presentation was superb - from made in Nicaragua cups. So was the rest of the decor, from Nicaragua representing the country beautifully. La parrilla with different meats were tasty and juicy…chicken was delicious. Love that staff and restaurant are kids friendly. I had one issue regarding miscommunication with gratuity. Our server brought the receipt for signature but did not include receipt with everything consumed plus gratuity. I asked server and total was a different amount in the final receipt. Service was amazing which is why pregunte pa dar mas pero me sentí que mintieron. We contacted restaurant and issue resolved. Kids love the gallo pinto y maduros.

it was so good (especially the mashed potatoes ) and the service was amazing !!! would 90% recommend ! only thing is that the menu is kind of confusing and the music doesnt fit the atmosphere but otherwise an amazing restaurant to go to !

Food was fantastic, drinks were fantastic and strong. Cheese and meats were great. Pretty affordable cocktails too for Miami. Restaurant itself wasn’t very nice, go for the food and the friendly staff. No frills but authentic food.
